Granite

I'm starting not to like Granite.

We can't find any that we like, and its driving me bonkers.

Took the afternoon off work to take all that trashed kitchen to the dump.

Luck has it that the dump is located 5km away.

Grabbed a van at budget, drove home, and preceeded to load it up with 1 kitchen.

A couple of hours later I was out with the Derb, before i headed off the to Dump to drop off the mother load. Round trip back to Budget - 12km.

If my back doesn't seize up tomorrow, it will be well worth the $1000 savings!

Dumped!

Demo-licious! - Feb 10th

In retrospec, the sledge hammer would have been worth going to Ally's to get.

But, within 2 hours, the kitchen was toast.

Thank god for particle board cabinets.

Amazingly, with a turn of the wrench, the pipes buckled. In so many ways, this kitchen was well past its expiry date.

Tomorrow; the dump.

Getting Ready - Feb 9th

Start day is fast approaching.

We bought our new Micro, vanity, sink and Tiling, all stored in the Den.

It is amazing how much stuff you can accumulate in your kitchen.

Steph is busting her butt getting everything out of there while I demo.

Friday is dump day!!!
